The much-loved Farmer s Pants ride made a fantastic return on the evening of Friday 10th April, kicking off another season of fun, fitness, and community spirit.
This unique and completely free 11-mile cycling loop starts from Marsh Lane in the village of Ravensmoor, near Nantwich and yes, true to its name, the route is shaped like a giant pair of underpants!
Open to riders of all ages and abilities, The Farmer s Pants is as relaxed or as challenging as you want it to be. Whether you re aiming for a personal best or enjoying a leisurely ride through the countryside, the scenic back roads provide the perfect setting, finishing conveniently near the Farmers Arms pub.
Founder Paul McIntyre said: It s brilliant to see so many people back out enjoying the ride again. The Farmer s Pants is all about getting people moving, having a laugh, and supporting each other we d love to welcome even more riders throughout the season.
Beyond the fun, the ride continues to raise awareness for men s health and mental health charities, including those supporting prostate and testicular cancer causes giving every mile a meaningful purpose.
Taking place most Fridays at 6pm throughout spring and summer, the ride is timed so everyone can enjoy it safely and be home before dark.
Participants are reminded to wear a helmet, ensure their bike is roadworthy, follow road laws, respect the countryside, and look out for fellow riders.
Paul McIntyre, also known for organising the monthly Dabbers Dash at Barony Park and founding the Nantwich Triathlon Club, continues to bring people together through accessible and enjoyable community events.
Why not come along and give it a go? Future rides are just around the corner, and everyone is welcome.
