A group of local ramblers are walking the Cumbria Way, and raising money for charity.
From Ulverston in the south, through the heart of the Lake District to Carlisle, the Cumbria Way is 73 miles long passing by Coniston and Derwentwater.
They are of course funding the trip themselves but also raising money for a local charity, the Neuromuscular Centre based in Winsford (click here for more information), which provides free specialist physiotherapy and other services for people with neuromuscular conditions.
NMC provides a range of unique services and specialist advice with the sole aim of improving the quality of life for adults with neuromuscular conditions, including muscular dystrophy.
