Just a note regarding the government advice changes this week.
As you may be aware, the government have announced that wearing a face covering will, by law, be compulsory (with certain exceptions) from 24th July in shops in England. Just to confirm, this will be the case for when you enter the Pharmacy.
The guidance is, generally, that a face covering will cover the mouth and nose, and is made of cloth or other textiles through which you can breathe, for example a scarf or religious head covering that covers the mouth and nose. A face visor also counts as a face covering.
Full guidance can be found here You will also find a pattern for If you are handy with a sewing machine/needle and thread.
We have plentiful type 2 disposable surgical masks for sale in store ranging from £15. There are also fabric face coverings available from Boots – click here. You can place an in store order for these items for later collection, subject to availability.
We have seen some lovely creative masks so far.
As always thank you for your support of your local Boots Pharmacy
Kind regards
