Over the past few years, there have been significant changes to local government, particularly the introduction of the two unitary authorities, Cheshire East and Cheshire West and the removal of Crewe and Nantwich Borough Council.
More recently, there have been moves towards local delivery of some services as explained in the Parish Council Message which was included in the Spring Newsletter.
All of this has resulted in a requirement for substantial changes to the role and responsibilities of the Parish Council. In order to explore this and to set in place plans for the future operation of the Parish Council, there will be an extraordinary meeting in the Public Hall Committee room at 7.30pm on Monday 23 May.
Members of the public are, as always, welcome to attend to listen to the discussion.
