Extraordinary Parish Council meeting

Councillors wish to correct the publicised misconception of the process of the Parish Council meeting to be held on Thursday evening. This meeting is called solely to review the costs, pro's and con's of taking over the playing field, tennis court, car park and play area.

Residents are, as with all Parish Council meetings, free to attend and there will, as always, be a Public Forum at the start of the meeting. The Standing Orders of the Parish Council allow for a Public Forum of no more than 15 minutes.

Whilst residents are welcome to speak during that time Councillors felt that comments would have more validity after people had heard the explanation of the costs involved. For that reason further time for questions and clarification has been allowed for after the facts are presented.

Please be aware that no vote will be taken on Thursday; this is an Agenda item for the Parish Council meeting next Monday, 3 November 2014.
