Rosie Lewis of Fields Farm in Green Lane writes: "Sadly our electric fence energizer, which was keeping the ewes on the show field (field bordered by Green Lane, Whitchurch Rd. and the canal), was stolen on the 18th or 19th January. It is a Rutland Electric Fencing's Electric Shepherd type ESB 275 and the serial # is 7970. It's green in colour. The battery was left so they knew what they were taking. As far as I know it can only be used to put electricicity into the fencing wire so, therefore, would only be of use to a sheep or horse person."

"It's the first time that this has happened in our 20 odd years here and is a very sad reflection on the demise of rural Audlem. Obviously if anyone finds it or knows of its whereabouts, we would be delighted."
