The result in the Eddisbury constituency declared soon after 4.00am was:

Antoinette Sandbach – Conservative: 29,192 votes – 56.9% of the vote
Cathy Reynolds – Labour: 17,250 votes with a 33.6% share
Ian Priestner - Liberal Democrat: 2,804, 5.5% share
John Bickley – UKIP: 1,109 votes, 2.2% share
Mark Green – Green Party: 785 votes, 1.5% share
Morgan Hill – Pirate Party: 179 votes or 0.3%

Nearby, Crewe & Nantwich saw Labour gaining the seat from the Conservatives in a very tight contest:

Laura Smith – Labour: 25,928 votes, or 47.1% of the vote
Edward Timpson – Conservative: 25,880 votes or 47.0%
Michael Stanley – UKIP: 1,885 votes or 3.4%
David Crowther – Liberal Democrat 1,334 votes or 2.4%
