Donna Louise auction at Lord C

May Hunter of 5As Theatrical Group Fame and myself have worked hard in raising funds for The Donna Louise Hospice Trust.

The peak of this work is the coming Auction of a fine selection of Lots in The Lord Combermere on the 17th December at around 8.45pm.

A few words on just what The Trust is dedicated to. The Donna Louise children's hospice provides respite and end of life care for children with life threatening conditions.

No one expects to outlive their child. The fear of what lies ahead, coupled with the challenge of caring for a very sick child can be a strain for many parents. Regular hospice visits allow families to relax and recharge their batteries in a safe and supportive environment.

The time that the children have with us is precious. What matters is that we create a wealth of happy memories and give the children and families a much needed break. We do our best to make every moment count.

We need to raise £2.5 million every year to continue the vital work we do. Quite simply, we would not exist without the support of people like you. The Hospice serves North Staffs and South Cheshire.
