'Dogs on leads' vote another close poll

Just as the last Vote Poll on whether Audlem should be made an Alcohol Exclusion Zone was neck and neck throughout the voting – it was eventually voted against by just one vote out of over 330 cast – the new Vote Poll started last Monday looks as if it could be just as close. Those against dogs being kept on leads on the canal towpath are just in the lead again, but it's very close.

Both polls have been instigated by proposals from Crewe & Nantwich Borough Council. The letters in local newspapers on the dog issue seem to be equally divided and some strong views have been expressed on both sides of the discussion. You can cast your vote by selecting Yes/No or Unsure in the Vote Poll box and then clicking on 'Vote Now'. You can only vote once on each computer. As Audlem Online is thought to be the only facility with this way of testing local opinion, it may play an important part in what is promising to be a lively debate.
