This week's Audlem Parish Council included a discussion about dog fouling with reports of dogs continuing to be allowed on the playing field. Other locations were also seeing a problem.

Jean White, clerk to the Parish Council has provided the following information obtained from Cheshire East's Dog Wardens re action which can be taken by individuals:

  • If you are prepared to make a witness statement, ring the Dog Warden who will come out to take your statement.
  • You will need to be able to identify the offender in some way – by name because you know them, or by address (follow them!) or by car registration number.
  • The Dog Warden will issue a fixed penalty notice.
  • Direct dial number for Dog Warden is 01270 529599 or via Cheshire East switch 0300 123 5500.
