Cup-winning Cricket XI of 1973

Kevan Holt has provided us with this impressive photograph of 1970's hair styles, otherwise known as the Audlem Cricket Club 1973 cup-winning side.

The Audlem C.C. team won the Market Drayton knockout trophy that year.

The final was a two innings affair played at on Market  Drayton's ground on a Bank Holiday Monday.

Audlem beat Newcastle & Whitmore to win the  Maurice Arkinstall Cup. All players were presented with a small commemorative cup.
