Combermere Quiz off to to bright start

The new Quiz Nights at the Lord Combermere got off to a very bright start last night, 11th January, with Jo and Allan making all very welcome and with good refreshments on the house at the half way point.

We have thought that we would offer the chance to groups and local good causes to hold a raffle on the Quiz Night, say once a month. If anyone is interested, please contact me so that we can plan a programme.

Groups such as Hope House, Donna Louise, St Luke's, Audlem Saints, Audlem Cricket Club, Cubs, Scout Hall and so on could benefit from this idea.

The Quiz starts at 9.15pm each Tuesday with 7 rounds. There's a prize of a bottle of wine or two beers for each round and each team pays £3 per team to take part.

It's fun and a good atmosphere.
