The talents and enthusiasm of our younger children have thrilled me this week in their super production of Lights, Camel, Action. Their acting, singing and dancing delighted their audiences this week and their performances were filled with lots of delights and reasons to smile. All of the children shone and I know they have thoroughly entertained each audience they have performed to. Well done to them all! Many thanks to all of the staff involved in this performance and to the parents and carers for supporting with costumes.
Our Christmas Fair last Friday was a great success. We were delighted Santa could squeeze our school into his hectic schedule to attend our Fair. I believe Mr Warburton helped Santa get to school and ensured he got back to his reindeers and toy preparations so thanks to him as well!! Many thanks to Mr & Mrs P Grange of PRG Trailers who kindly supported the printing of the raffle tickets.
Thanks must also go to our wonderful FASA team who worked tirelessly to make it such a special occasion and to all the families who supported the event. It was a wonderful team effort, which, combined with monies from other fundraising events this term, raised a fantastic £2073.61 for school. This money will be used to benefit all of the children in school and is a fantastic achievement. We are incredibly lucky to have such a dedicated team supporting our school with these events.

ABC Childcare
ABC would like to thank you for your support and hope you have a wonderful time over the festive season.
Bug Busting
I would like to remind parents of the importance of maintaining regular combing with a 'nit' comb to help detect any lice at an early stage so preventing the spread to other children and family members. As we have highlighted via previous communications regarding this issue, we urge parents to inform school as soon as possible should they detect their child/ren has headlice so we can immediately send out letters to classmates.
Prevention and early detection is key to combating this problem and regular combing is advised both by our School Nurse and Cheshire East Public Health team as the best way to deal with head lice, as some chemical solutions can cause scalp irritations. Thank you for your support with this matter. Head Lice are in all schools and we will never eradicate them entirely, however, to
start our new term off well, I would again ask all parents and carers to find time for 'Bug Busting' during the break and ensure that they check their child's hair before we return to school.
Finally
This will be my last newsletter before our Christmas break. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all of the support you have given to school and myself during this term.
I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a fantastic New Year. I look forward to welcoming you back to school on Wednesday 4th January.
