When does Christmas begin? Some would say in August but with the Big Switch On last night there is a sense that Christmas is on the way.

At St. James our Christmas services begin this Sunday when we hold our Christingle Service.

This popular family occasion has its roots in the Moravian Church of the 19th Century. More recently it has been introduced through the Children's Society and as well as being a reflection on the Christmas story is also a way of practically entering in the Christmas spirit of giving.

If you haven't been to a Christingle Service before don't miss it! If you have then, you won't want to miss it.

This is a service for ALL the family to appreciate, even teenagers! If you are 0 – 100 years come along to St, James on Sunday at 4.00pm. See you there, you will receive a warm welcome.
