Cheshire Street still closed

Our picture shows how one frustrated resident was prepared to use any means to get round the roadworks in Cheshire Street

It looks as though the leak itself has been fixed, but there is now a big partially filled hole in the road, with an area of tarmac to be relaid.

To add to the general noise and activity in the area, the car park where the builders' compound has been for the past year is now being re-marked.

The rest of the car park is still available, and athe businesses in Cheshire Street are open as usual.
