Three thousand cyclists are heading to Queens Park in Crewe for one of the UK's most popular cycling events.
The KTG Cheshire Cat 2015, which takes place on Sunday, March 29, will see riders heading off on 105, 80 and 50-mile rides around Cheshire between 8.00am – 10.30am, with lots of on-site activities for spectators throughout the day.
Novices can complete the Crewe to Nantwich ride along the 'King's Shilling Way' whilst the professional riders tackle their first big challenge, the Mow Cop Killer Mile, with its 25% gradient near the top.
The event attracts riders from all over the UK plus a few from abroad and is seen as the big season opener.
And this year, Smarter Ways to Travel has teamed up with organisers KILOTOGO to add free family rides designed to encourage more people to choose cycling as a way of getting around.
There's also free, secure cycle parking so that more people will dig out their bikes and cycle to the park.
