Local resident, Clare Bryan, is to undertake a charity ride from London to Amsterdam from the 8th June until the 12th June 2016. The ride will be with others to raise money for their individual charities.
Clare's target is to raise £2000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust to help a young girl Elle Morris, who is awaiting a double lung transplant who recently featured in the local Chronicle and on Facebook.
The ride itself starts at Crystal Palace with stops at Calais, Bruges, and Breda, before arriving in Amsterdam on the Eve of Saturday 11th June – approximately 90 miles per day. Clare has started training now and says she is loving being out on her bike again after a very wet and dreary winter!
Elle Morris lives in Aston and has just turned 10 years old and suffers from Cystic Fibrosis. Clare describes her as a beautiful little girl who is constantly smiling. She wrote a list of 10 things she wanted to achieve for her 10th Birthday and has done a fantastic job of achieving things on her list.
