We at Audlem Mill have just handed over £170 to the Charity Shop, which comes from the sale of books in July from the gazebo outside Audlem Mill.
Book sales result in us passing on an average of more than £800 a year – in fact, a total of £8750 since we started selling secondhand books in 2007.
The books on the stand are provided by the charity shop itself, or are donated direct by locals or boaters, so cost nothing. Every penny from sales goes to the Charity Shop – there are no costs or administration charges
