This morning i was walking up Kettle Lane with my dog and she sniffed out a cat that was in the bushes opposite Oak Lea Kettle Lane. The cat appears to be in an extremely poor condition and didn't even move when the dog went nearby. It is black and white but mainly white with no collar.

I returned to the location without the dog at 12.30 with some food and as I tried to get close it hissed at me, so I just left the food for it. I knocked on a few houses but no reply. I would think the cat is a stray as didn't appear to have a collar on and if owned would not think it would be left to get into such a state. I was going to try to take is to Stapley animal rescue but having never owned a cat was a bit wary it would bite me.

Can you please put an article on Audlem on Line to see if anyone is aware of the cat and maybe someone who is used to cats may be able to catch it, I don't now what else to suggest.

Kathryn
