Fat quarters at the Mill

What a delightful place to visit Audlem Mill is.

To hear the amount (s) they have raised and donated to local causes, the latest being over £200 to the McMillan Cancer Support handed over to Braids last Friday, is the icing on the cake (see article here).

Peter and Christine put a lot of effort in to these activities and although it is typical of them to give credit to everyone but themselves I would like to stress that although it isn't easy to give up one's "stash", (to be truthful only part of the stash), the hard work fell to Christine and Peter. I hardly recognised my offering in the beautifully laid out, pressed, folded and attractive fat quarters and fabric packs.

And there is plenty more where that came from!

I must now part with some books as they do have a good line in pre-loved books , the proceeds from which goes, I believe, to Audlem Charity Shop. The hard part is not coming home with a different book or two.
