Calling all Audlem fire fighters

Calling all Audlem fire fighters, past and present, their families and anyone who has experienced their help.

The History Society knows very little about the activities of the Audlem fire brigade after 1934, which is the last year of the minute books we have copied onto the Audlem website archive.

Next year, the History Society is planning a talk about the fire service in Audlem. If you have any connection with the Audlem fire brigade or the Cheshire Fire Service, we would be delighted to hear your stories and share your memories at an informal gathering in the Scout and Guide Hall, on Saturday 19 November, between 10.30 am and 12.00 noon. Light refreshments will be served.

If you have any newspaper cuttings about the Audlem Fire service, please bring them along, so that we can scan them for the Audlem website archive.
