AudlemOnline has received this request for suggestions for Social Projects for young people.

What is on offer?

The National Citizenship Scheme Cheshire East Team Leader working across the area has a team of young people that would like to hear of your community opportunities to involve them doing 30 hours within a social action project from the 2nd November onwards, over nights and weekends that best fit the team. If you know of any projects that are currently ongoing that need an extra hand it would be great to hear about them!

Why bother?

I was recently involved in a very successful summer project which achieved great outcomes transforming various spaces used for youth club activities and I can't tell you how empowered the young people were after delivering a project to be proud of that spoke loud and proud about their community spirit, their imagination and quality of work -- the youth club committee trusted the young team by providing a great opportunity for creativity gave them a platform for their work that demonstrated trust in their ability, their young minds and hands which was a gift in itself -- the results of older people old spaces needing energizing combined with young hands was a big success on many levels!

What next?

So if you have a project that needs support please be in touch with Annalisa on mobile 07958935839 or email annalisatownsend98@gmail.comannalisatownsend98@gmail.com> and please do keep me posted as I really believe in the mutual benefits of social action projects for everyone involved.
