While Audlem Online published the story about Bryanair launching a new budget airline service from Coxbank International Airport as long ago as 1st April, enquiries are still coming in. Two more arrived today. One said: "Perhaps local guesthouses in the Audlem area could make the most of this unlikely business coming to the region by advertising their accommodation to Bryanair passengers who may like to visit Audlem itself?"

"Is this for real? I can't believe that there can be an airline called Bryanair or that they would be based in Coxbank! What's more, surely bus transfers will use the motorways to access Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham in order to get people to their 'destinations' the same day! And who is Avril Fouliere?" A second email a few minutes later indicate our correspondent suddenly realised who Avril was!

Another correspondent asks: "Presumably Coxbank International Airport has parking for bicycles? I want to take my car on a touring holiday in Bunbury and need to know that my bicycle will be safe while I am away."

A third correspondent a few days ago asked if they could land their helicopter at Coxbank and enquired about the windsock. All this encourages us to ask if anyone called Bryan fancies setting up a new airline. Clearly there is a latent demand.
