Bridge quiz raffle generosity

At the Bridge Quiz night before Christmas, we held a raffle and auction for one of our villagers, Thandi Sidu.

Thandi has lived in Audlem for over five years and is a nursing sister working in Audlem (and other) homes around the district. She is currently very unwell with cancer and is unable to work. Her home is in South Africa and she has no family in the UK on whom to call for help.

We raised a magnificent £400, all down to the generosity and support from local businesses and individuals. Thandi is enormously grateful for this support as it will make such a difference to her being able to pay some of her bills. Thank you everyone who took the time and effort to support her.
