As promised the group of largely local brass players performed again on Christmas Eve in the centre of the village.
We had a nice morning playing with lots of lovely comments from the many people who stopped to listen. We played in all for about two hours and unlike last year the weather was kind to us!
As reported earlier on Audlem on Line this is the 4th year we have played. When we first started it was never our intention to collect money, we just wanted to play and hopefully add some Christmas cheer to our village.
That said people just insisted on donating money so ever since we have taken anything given with all monies raised going to St Lukes Hospice.
Thanks to the kind folk of Audlem we are please to report that this year our little group raised £120 for this worthy cause.
Barring the unforeseen we will be there again, same time, same place next Christmas!
