A small group of locals, who just also happen to be brass players, intend to play carols in the centre of Audlem on Christmas Eve morning as we did last year – weather permitting, I'm afraid.

All being well, though, we will be there from 10.30am – 12 midday. We are doing it for fun as it just seems like a nice thing to do.

Last year we didn't set out to collect any money but the lovely folk of Audlem just insisted on giving us some (all of which we promptly deposited in the St Lukes box in the Salad Bowl).

We just hope people enjoy hearing the music but should anyone again insist on donating any change it will once again be going to St Luke's.
