Bonfire night news from ASET

There's two pieces of exciting news regarding the upcoming Bonfire and Fireworks Evening on 7th November 2009.

On Friday, ASET and Audlem St James Primary School launched a competition to select the child to light the bonfire at this year's Bonfire & Fireworks night. Details of the competition were being distributed to all pupils in the school newsletter yesterday. Entries are due back to the school or Audlem Post Office by 16th October. Secondly, Audlem St James PS is to make the Guy for the Bonfire. A selection of pupils from across the years will help to build the Guy for on top of the bonfire at this year's event. When asked if the school would be interested in providing a guy for the top of the bonfire, head-teacher Ms Nolan-Burnitt said "I will get Mr Wilkin onto it, straight away!".
