Bonfire boosts website hits

There was an amazing turnout for the ASET Bonfire & Fireworks on Saturday – see yesterday's review if you weren't there – which also led to a busy evening for many local businesses.

The event also boosted readership of Audlem Online with so many clicking on to check Bonfire & Firework times and ticket details. Typically, we attract around 700 readers a day. Last week, however, the daily readership was well over 900 day and Saturday, the day of the Bonfire event, had 1,195 people checking us out.

Indeed, the past week has been the busiest since Audlem Online was launched five years ago with 6,600 readers in the week, that's around 940 a day.
