Boat moorings petition

We would like to thank all those who signed the petition to try to persuade British Waterways to change their policy and continue to allow boat moorings along the canal in Audlem.

Nearly 550 people signed, but had the canal actually been fully open, we might have expected very many more signatures.

The petition has now been sent with a covering letter and other support documents to the lady at British Waterways who is in charge nationally of moorings, and we have invited her to come to Audlem.

We will report on any response.
