Following the sell out launch in Audlem, The Acoustic Sessions at the Blue Cafe hits the road, heading to the new venue at Chuffchuffs in Crewe on 19th March at 7.30pm.
This is what's been said about Blue Café"
"The moment you walked into the venue you had the feeling of being in a top jazz bar, with moody lighting, perfectly laid tables and an atmosphere second to none, all perfectly created' and then the music....
"The Spare Ribs, Jack and Heidi, the incredibly talented duo joined by their young percussionist, Joe Brown, on the box drum, absolutely stunned the waiting audience with their amazing vocals and the variety of instruments they played keeping their set lively and interesting.
"The Folkwits, Dave and Kel, these two have a stunning unique sound that will match any act in any top folk club in the world. The sooner we can get hold of some of their music on cd the better, with two highlights of the set being, 'Who knows where the time goes' and the magical, 'Freight Train'. The hairs on the back of the neck were up and ready for the headlining act.
"And what a set it was, the audience silenced by some incredible music and touching dedications to friends and family. And as the night went on, the Blue Café was treated to the haunting incredible sound of the Cello, played perfectly by Sally Keighley."
