A big thank you from Janice as she raises money for St Lukeís

Janice Spibey has contacted Audlem Online to say that the final sum she raised in sponsorship by taking part in the Midnight Walk last month was £1,484.85. Gift Aid will be added to this sum so the figure will end up around £1,600.

The money goes to St Luke's Hospice. Janice says she "is over the moon" and wants to say a huge thank you to everyone who sponsored her and supported her. The walk was a half Marathon of 13.1 miles and Janice trained regularly for the event which took place on Saturday 16th June. It has become a hugely successful fundraiser and this year's was the third annual Midnight Walk.

Janice also participated in 2006's walk when she raised £1,355.10.
