AudlemOnline ended the year strongly with the number of readers in the final quarter (October – December) up 69.5% on the first quarter of 2013.
Over the year, an average of 1,681 readers a day clicked on although the year finished with a delightfully precise 2,000 readers coming on to the site on 31st December. Pity another 13 or 14 couldn't make it to celebrate either the end of 2013 or the start of the New Year.
November was the best month of the year, with 73,023 readers followed by December. 13th November was the busiest day of the year with 3,038 readers opening 7,884 pages, with big jumps around the Fireworks and The Big Switch On events. Indeed, the video of the latter evening was the most visited 'story' of the year.
Two milestones were passed in the year that caused the webteam to find yet another excuse to raise a glass or three. In October, we passed the one million hits in a year figure for the first time while in December the celebration was for the publication of the 10,000th news article since we began on-line in August 2005.
You can always check out the figures by clicking on Visits Today at the bottom of the Homepage. As always, our sincere thanks for your interest in AudlemOnline.
