Big Brownie Birthday

As part of their Big Brownie centenary challenge, the Brownies have built scarecrows depicting brownie uniforms over the past hundred years and and a space rocket taking girls into the future.

They also worked hard to make a cake and a brownie bear and have mounted a tableau at the Wrenbury scarecrow trail.

On Tuesday we all visited our scarecrows in front of the school, followed the village scarecrow trail and had ice creams in the sun.

A fortnight ago we were part of 1500 Cheshire Brownies celebrating at Starquest and 8 girls were able to" sleepover" in a big marquee with 400 other Brownies.

As it was the longest day there was very little darkness and certainly even less sleep!
