Beware of sleeping hedgehogs

Please could people be aware of Hedgehogs sleeping in the long grass, in leaf piles, behing logs and in hidden away areas of their gardens when they are tidying up the gardens in this lovely weather.

We have yet again had to take a severely injured hog to Stapeley for treatment. Its injuries were probably caused by a garden strimmer. It's heartbreaking to see but we hope that with the correct medical help this hog can be returned to us for release.
