Berni leaving hospital

Colin Cliffe reports from Houston Texas with the news all who have been following Berni's progress has been waiting to hear:

"I am pleased to say that Bernie will be discharged from hospital later today. (That would be yesterday as the message was received last night and sent yesterday morning, Houston time.).

"Although she still has a few minor issues, the Doctor thinks this can all be controlled from our apartment now and he wants to see how she gets on.

"We have to go back to see him on the 22nd and hopefully then we will be given the ok to fly home a couple of days later.

"So all being well we are a couple of weeks away from our fantastic village."
