BC Boat Management in Audlem

A new business moved to Audlem recently with BCBM Boat Share Ltd now established at 15 Shropshire Street. Andrew Barton describes their business:

We have a subsidiary company trading as BCBM Boat Share Ltd which is the brokerage arm of the business that actually deals in the sale of new and resale shares on behalf of our owners as part of the facility which we offer under the boat management mother company.

BC Boat Management Ltd was created almost seven years ago when we took over a company and inherited 16 syndicates to manage. Some two and half years later, due to the demise of a large syndicate boating company called Ownerships, we secured another 22 syndicates bringing our portfolio to 38 boats.

We have since built four brand new boats and recently purchased a privately commissioned new boat by the name of Oakmere, which brings us to 45 in the fleet at present with 3 boats we also manage out in France.

We have a staff of five full time and four part time working out of our new head office here in Audlem, and our regional office in the historic Braunston Marina near Daventry. We are a boat share company and not a timeshare company of which there is a huge difference.
