Audlem WI Centenary Open Day

I just know that the good people of Audlem will be euphoric to hear that Audlem WI will be holding an entry free 'Open Day" on Saturday 7th of September in the Scout & Guide Hall between 2.00 to 4.00 pm so please put this important date in your diaries.

We will be arranging our archives around the hall in date order, and there will be a variety of historical photos on display, you may even recognise some of the people. To show that we are not a group of old fogeys, a Belly Dancing Poster will be on display along with our prize winning Suffragette Scarecrow who will be chained to the railings.

To top it all, there will a Grand Raffle operated by the legendary Margaret Wells and a variety of homemade cakes with tea or coffee will also be served, at a small cost, to revive those aching feet.

I have checked the football fixtures and there is nothing of any great importance happening on this date, and for those who are still struggling on how to record dates on your iPads and iPhones, my husband will be available 24 hours a day for the next six weeks to give instructions on usage – again!

Remember – Free Entry, Audlem WI Centenary Open Day, Saturday September 7th at The Scout and Guide Hall 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm.

We look forward to welcoming you all.
