Audlem WI 100 year Anniversary

AUDLEM W.I. 100 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

As Audlem W.I. is celebrating it's 100 year anniversary we would like to invite you to our display of the W.I. archives and memorabilia on Saturday 7th September from 2pm- 4pm at the Scout and guide hall in Audlem.

Admission is free and there will be tea and cake available to purchase. Our records date from 1919 to the present day. There are many photographs, newspaper cuttings, awards and letters, particularly from the second world war. The photographs of the pageant held at Highfields to celebrate Audlem WI's 50th birthday are fascinating. Come and see how the W.I. has changed over the years and see our present day activities.

May be you will see a member of your family or perhaps you might like to join our group and hear interesting speakers or take up a new hobby. Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday.
