The June/July Vote Poll on whether you agree with Cheshire Police being merged with Merseyside Police produced an almost eight to one margin against the merger. It now appears that plans for police mergers have been dropped and many of the police forces who spent money fighting the enforced mergers are now trying to reclaim that money from the Home Office.

The Audlem Vote Poll result is being sent to the Chief Constable of Cheshire Police – just in case the merger plan re-emerges.

There is now a new Poll on whether you support the Parish Plan bid to de-prime the A525, the Woore to Whitchurch road, as a first step in trying to reduce the number of HGVs passing through the village. The draft submission to the Ministry of Transport is now published under Articles on the Homepage – simply click on the Article title to bring it up on screen. You can vote now by clicking on Yes/No or Unsure and then on Vote Now. You can only vote once.
