Audlem Saints under 8s extended their unbeaten run to seven games with a 2-1 victory over Wistaston Leopards on Sunday. In an excellent game, Audlem had lots of shots saved as the Leopards' goalkeeper covered himself in glory. However, one of the Audlem defenders popped up to score a good goal from a well taken corner kick. Audlem went 2-0 up courtesy of a splendid twenty yard free kick into the top corner. Leopards bounced back and snatched a late goal but it wasn't enough to prevent Audlem taking all the points.
Saints are now joint top of the league with Stapely Gunners and it is that team that awaits them on Sunday, 11.45 kick off.
