Church Stretton

Summer has been a great time for Audlem running group. The group recently had an 'away day' to the picturesque hills of Church Stretton for their weekly Saturday run. The run was followed by a well deserved hearty breakfast of course!

Individual members exploits

Audlem running group have also taken part in their second local park run (in Crewe) and over the summer individual group members have also been using Saturday mornings of their holidays to represent the group at park runs around the country.

Some of the group have taken part in individual races and one member, Helen, has recently achieved the accolade of becoming a member of the 100 marathon club! With only 97 to go to catch up, Audlem Running Club's communications officer sits down to contemplate the prospect with a cup of tea and some carbohydrates!

New York

In other news, earlier in the summer four runners from Audlem were in New York and took advantage of Central Park to run and showcase Audlem running club kit.

The group meets weekly on Saturday at 8.30am on the village playing field/car park. For the week where we 'park run' please meet at 8am.
