If all goes to plan, today is the last day readers will see the current design of Audlem Online. A completely new website, with lots of new features, is due to appear tomorrow, assuming the big switch over goes smoothly. As we warned yesterday, some servers take a little time to pick up 'new' websites but we hope that any disruption will be minimal.

Some of the new features were described yesterday in 'New Look to Audlem Online.' Many of the old favourites, such as the Vote Poll, will remain but in a new, much more colourful format with pie charts, no less, showing the progress of each poll as the votes come in. Voters will not be restricted to 'Yes', 'No' and 'Unsure' answers either, with 'Multiple Choice' style options available such as 'What a load of rubbish!' We will kick off tomorrow with a new Vote on what you think of the new website design.

For those concerned that recent news stories will disappear, they are all archived and are more easily accessed on the new site. There are changes to the Forum – but more on this tomorrow.

We hope the new photo 'Galleries' will prove popular and will welcome more high quality digital photos – 'landscape' format rather than 'portrait' for preference so we can build up an ever-better collection of great Audlem and district shots.

The 'Heritage' section contains a wealth of information that as been on the old site but has been a little difficult to find. This section includes records of baptisms, marriages and funerals since Audlem Online started in August 2005; a comprehensive history section; descriptions of local wildlife and geology and much more.

As from tomorrow, we hope you enjoy the new-look Audlem Online.
