Audlem Mill "Among Finest in Britain"

Audlem Mill is featured in the latest edition of the monthly magazine Waterways World, in a pull-out guide to the Shropshire Union Canal.

"Audlem Mill is among Britain's finest canalside stores, comprising of a gift shop and art gallery with a first-floor needlework centre; our 'On the Cut' pages list their exhibitions and other goings-on, but for some of us, the well-stocked bookshop will be enough."

There are also plaudits for The Lord Combermere -- "enjoy a pint or perhaps a hearty, well-priced meal at this atmospheric watering hole...." And of the village, it says "Audlem is an essential stop with its friendly stores, traditional butcher, good chippy and attractive butter market."
