We are very pleased to welcome Dr Nancy Verso to Audlem until the end of this year, and also to inform you that our practice nurse, Jayne McFarlane, will be returning from maternity leave in December.

In the year 2000 we offered our patients 13,080 doctor and nurse appointments; in 2009 this had increased to 16,319, plus over 10,000 health care assistant appointments. Unfortunately we are still losing a significant number of these extra appointments to patients who do not turn up – 155 appointments were wasted in September/October.

Remember, if you have an urgent medical problem that you feel needs attention before our next available routine GP/Nurse Practitioner appointment, our receptionists will take your details and a clinician will phone you back within 2 hours to assess your problem and arrange an urgent review if/as appropriate.
