Audlem Medical Centre extension completed

A small celebration took place in the new meeting/training/staff room, part of the extension to Audlem Medical Centre that has just been completed.

The rooms in the extension give the practice much more flexibility of consulting rooms; proper offices; much-needed storage space and a new room big enough for meetings, training sessions and staff purposes.

In a short speech, doctor Pete Leftwick paid particular thanks to the office staff, led by Diana Ryan, who had had to put up with great disruption over the eight month build period, while still organising the doctors and appointments. He also thanked patients and the rest of the Audlem Community for their understanding during the building project.

He also mentioned that at times the noise of drills and other machinery felt as if they were going on inside his head, never mind just the other side of the wall!

Anyway, all is now completed and looking very nice, and all the staff at the Medical Centre are looking forward to making good use of the space for the benefit of the patients.
