Audlem Lass this weekend

With the school half-term underway, and a busy week expected on the canal, a reminder that Audlem Lass will be sailing today and tomorrow and next Saturday and Sunday.

Indeed, a milestone could well be passed this weekend or next – the 4,000th passenger trip. This is a thousand more passenger trips than were forecast when the service was launched at Easter on 23rd April.

This morning's first service will be at 11.00am from Overwater Marina to Audlem with the first sailing from Lock 15 near Audlem at 11.15am.

This will have the added bonus of a mini-cruise to the marina and around the Overwater island before mooring at the Overwater Marina pontoon near the Reception and Coffee Lounge.

This will be repeated at each hour at 12noon, 1.00pm, 2.00pm and 3.00pm until 4.00pm which is the last service returning to Audlem.

The coxswains' team thank everyone for their support since Easter helping to raise money for the RNLI.
