Audlem Lass raises thousands for charity that saves lives at sea

The Audlem Lass boat service is a volunteer-run service in support of the RNLI – Royal National Lifeboat Institution https://rnli.org.

Audlem Lass runs on Saturday, Sundays and Bank Holidays (10:30am to 5pm) from Easter until October.

The service operates on the Shropshire Union Canal between Audlem's Lock 15 (near The Shroppie Fly pub) and the Overwater Marina (which contains Cafe at Bridge 80): http://www.overwatermarina.co.uk/.

Departs from Lock 15 quarter to and quarter past the hour. Departs from Overwater Marina on the hour and half past.

Trip donation (each way) = £1 for adults and 50p for children. Dogs and pushchairs travel free.

Since its very first journey in Easter 2010, the Audlem Lass has transported over 40,000 passengers, including dogs and pushchairs, raising well over 25,000 for the RNLI.
