We are now at the stage of clearing away the hanging baskets and tubs/troughs of the summer displays.

The red Andy Pandy Begonias in the troughs have been magnificent, but they have to go to make room for next year's spring display.

Mention must be made of the superb baskets that Geoff Stretch at the Public Hall cared for - a truly splendid example of good feeding and watering.

Also of course the displays cared for at the Villager Signs by very supportive volunteers .

We are now planting some 1000 tulips and have placed our orders to the nurseries for the follow on summer displays. I am going for a newer look in 2012 with greater colour in tubs, troughs etc.
