Audlem History Society November 2024 Talk

The next talk for Audlem History Society will be held on Thursday 21st November at 7.30pm

in the Scout and Guide Hall, Audlem, following a very brisk AGM!

There are 2 speakers this evening. Sheila Swindale will tell us about her relatives, the Burton family. Marjorie Burton is remembered for writing a history of Audlem, but Sheila will also talk about her grandfather, Kingsley Burton, whose name is associated with Kingbur Mill, Audlem.

On the double bill tonight will be Isobel Sykes telling us about her family, the Edmonds, who for many years were well-known caterers based in Audlem.

We invite you to join us for a fascinating insight into local family histories.
