Audlem Food Festival

This year sees the addition of another annual event to the Audlem calendar: the Audlem Food Festival to be held on the Sunday of the Audlem Beer Festival weekend – Sunday 28th August 2011.

The Food Festival will feature over 50 speciality food stalls selling a range of different speciality food types including breads, meats, dairy produce, confectionery, snacks, oils and sauces.

The centrepiece of the one day event on the playing field will be a series of cooking demonstrations by renowned local chefs.

Those of you who are loyal supporters of the Audlem Proms and Midsummer Music in the Park will have noticed the absence of this year's event. We hope you will not be disappointed by this and assure you that the traditional summer picnic in the park will be back in 2012.

Already the ASET team is working with internationally acclaimed musical directors to bring an even bigger and better summer's evening of music next year.

Planning for the food festival is well underway and the ASET team are delighted with the response that they have received so far from stall holders.
